We did a survey about guns and crime. Our group members are Hiro, Hamad, Majd, and I. Every person in our group took eight surveys. I went to the student center, because I wanted to get college students’ opinions about guns and crime. I asked eight different people to answer our survey questions. All of the people I asked were very nice. One of them, after he answered our survey questions asked me about the guns in my country. He asked me “ is having guns is legal or illegal in your country?” I answered his question. He was interested in the gun laws in my country. He said it is a good law, that you can’t have guns in your country, because it is one of the good ways to reduce the crime rate.
Some people think that having guns will help to reduce the crime rate in the United State. They said that when you have a guns you will be able to protect yourself and other people from the criminal. But, I don’t agree with them, because when nobody has a gun we will not need guns to protect ourselves. So that will help a lot to reduce the crime rate without needing to carry guns with us.

25 years murder-free in 'Gun Town USA'
In this article the author argues about wether more guns or fewer can prevent tragedies like the Virginia attack. He mentions that a Georgia town witnessed a dramatic fall in crime and violence after mandating residents to own firearms. In that example, in the small town of Kennesaw, the government passed an ordinance requiring every head of house to own a gun. When this ordinance required, it increased the violence and accidents.
In my opinion, requiring every person to have a gun is not a good ordinance. I think it will increase the violence and the crime rate, because there are a number of people who will use it to do bad things, fore example, stealing or killing other people. So it is better when we prohibit all people from using guns. When we do that it will make controlling bad people easy. In order to make this ordinance successful, the government should make a strong law about guns, and give high punishment to the people who have guns.

High Crime See More Guns Stolen
This article says that States with high crime see more guns stolen. In fact there is a relationship between high crime and guns stolen, and there are reports in this article that show to us the big numbers of guns that are stolen in a period of time in the different states in the United Sates. States such as Alaska, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, New Mexico, Georgia, Texas, Florida, and North Carolina are the most dangerous states in U.S. that probably have a lot of guns stolen with high crime.
In my opinion, what the author mentions is really logical, and I totally agree with him. Guns are the most important thing that criminals try to find to do their crimes. Guns are very dangerous for the society, and there is a relationship between high crime and guns stolen, because criminals, when steal guns steal them for a purpose, to do their crimes, not just to keep them. There is something interesting which is that a gun is very small, so when people steal it we can't know about that and they can hide it anywhere, unlike cars or something big that is easy to see.

Guns & Crimes (survey)
I and my classmate deicided to make a survey; five of us did the survey that is about guns and crimes. We made eleven questions about these two topics, and each of us asked eight people, and we wanted the answers of these questions from American students to know about their country. I went to the students' center to share the survey for eight American students; I chose the food area to share these questions because this is a good place to talk with people. I was looking for their opinions and their impressions about guns and crimes in the United States. The most questions that I wanted to know from their answer was the state that has the highest percentage of gun ownership, which was in this survey, Texas, and I wasn't surprised abut that because it is very dangerous state in America. In fact these people who answered the questions were very nice and very friendly to me and one of them had a survey about international food, and he chose me as a volunteer to answer his questions and I did.
In my opinion, guns are related to crimes, and these are very dangerous for our life. I chose these two topics to make a survey because there is a stereotype that says all Americans have guns but this is not true, as the survey showed to us, even if we asked only a few people. From the results I noticed that there are a big number of people who said they don't have a gun, but they said they have friends and members of their family who have guns. In this article, Mr John believe that when we support more guns for the people, we will reduce crimes. In fact, he explain that by two reasons. First, the guilty can not specify the people who can defend themself. Second, the people have a good position to defnd themself.
In my opinion, i disagree with Mr John because i think the government should defend the people from the guilties not the people should defend themself from the guilties.
